Remanufactured parts returns

Does anyone know if you can return remanufactured parts if they are defective? I want to return a cv axle that seems to be defective, but I was reading the returns policy and it states you cannot return installed parts. This doesn’t seem right. Any input?

The part is from Camelback Toyota by the way.

I would reach out to Camelback regarding your inquiry and explain your situation to them. They might be more receptive that way in case something is really wonky with the product. But definitely double, triple, quadruple verify everything before you even think about boxing it up and sending it off.

I believe the oem parts come with a one year manufacturing warranty. Except the electrical parts. However, I may be wrong on this and it may very by dealership as well.. :-(

I'm pretty sure the 1 year parts warranty only applies if installed by a dealer, but I hope I'm wrong
