Going to go exploring today with my wife and kids to find a good quiet place, maybe with a good patch of grass, to barbecue and let the kids play. Just curious if anyone knows of a good spot like that in the big bear or wrightwood areas? Not looking for anything too technical off-road, just someplace quiet and not crowded. Thanks guys.

Only place I can think of is santiago canyon, at the top or holy gym, the trail part
