Remote Start Remote fob replacement

I ordered a remote start keyfob since since I only have one and I wanted it one for my spares keys, so the big question here is, to program it, can I used the same procedure a regular keyless entry remote uses, or it needs a different procedure since it is a remote starter remote?

Sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm/remote start installed. Can you post a picture of the remote?

This is the remote I ordered, the one I have its the same but in red and it came when I bought the car from the dealership

Check under your dash for a small black or red push button to use for programming. Sometimes they are mounted to the kick panel, sometimes hidden behind the fuse access, and sometimes the LED light doubles as a button.
