remove exhaust resonator??

I am thinking of cutting off my stock resonator and place a new tip on the end. So I would like to know if anyone removed the resonator on the stock exhaust? If so how did it sound? Was it worth cutting it off?

It was the 3rd mod I did when the rig was less than a month old. Tint, reflector mod, Flowmaster with a slash cut tip.

So did it change the sound at all (not the FlowMaster, but removing the resonator) or did you do both things at the same time?

awesome mod, no sound change

Cut the rez and add the Flow at the same time. Huge diff in sound. It was like and electric car before when it was stock. I had to look at the tac to see if it was on? Just too PC for me. Now it has a low tone to it but nothing like a super duty. Just enuff.

Did it do anything for performance or fuel economy?

It shouldn't make a differance at all and didn't notice anything on the drive home.
