remove gas pedal??

trying to drill and attached a sparco gas pedal but need to remove the oem gas pedal to drill and mount the aftermarket.

seem to be a pin holding it on but is did not want to continue messing with it,,,,,

If you have a 4g 4R I don't think you can remove the gas pedal. Its all modded into one piece. your best bet is to just screw into the plastic with the pedal on the car.

thanks, i have a 01 - 3G? - I don't know how secure that would be in the long run (screwing direct into pedal) without the metal plate behind the pedal. What are my options, i heard OBX has slip on's, do you know if they are any good?
