Yeah I know, the same question everyone always asks - but I've searched the web for hours and I can't figure out how to pull out the nav system in an 06 4Runner. Can't seem to get the plastic dash faceplate off. Anyone know of any online instructions or pics? THANKS!

(PS I'm installing an iPod adapter.)

What kind of iPod adapter are you installing? My 06 T4R w/ nav already has the aux input in the center console for the ipod and I was curious as to what else you were adding. As you have already seen the link above works great, I used to install the Terk XM to my unit.

I got it from Neocar. It's fantastic! We already have an aftermarket DVD player using the AUX, so that wasn't available, but this is much better anyway.

The iPod sits in the glove box, or wherever, and is connected via a standard iPod connector. So it's kept charged. You click the AUX button one more time, and now CD Changer 2 has been added. That's the iPod. You can scroll through all your playlists and songs using the steering wheel buttons, and the text for the album and song appears on the screen, just like you were listening to an MP3 CD. And the sound quality is perfect. I am on cloud nine!
