Removed the Running Boards!

What a difference. I Removed the running boards from my 4runner and the presence of the 4runner is completely different. I like it although i must say i was slugged by the old lady for doing it! Small price to pay.

Also another update took the 16" Tundra 5 star's and began the prep work for painting them. I have 2 of them with the first primer coat on. I haven't seen anyone do this yet with those specific rims so i am interested to see how they come out. I personally think they look pretty damn cool but then again i am doing all the labor.

I wanted to ask for an opinion. I have been contemplating painting the lips on the rim one of two colors. I have seen red on a few different setups so that was one option and the other which i haven't seen anyone do was a gunmetal. Any thoughts?

2. I would do full black since they're a good temporary rim, I'd choose gunmetal if you were gonna do a colored lip though.

Man, those tacoma rims will looks soo much better than whatever the hell those wheels are from!

I agree with taking the running boards off. Where did those current wheels come from? They aren't my favorite. Ha.

yeah 80 bucks. Just a cheap fix until i can get something a little more to my liking.

aw man, those rims hurt my eyes, but your new ones gunna look nice! i bet u can't even sell those other rims for 50 bucks if u tried.

question: do you have smaller tires in the rear?

I am pretty sure they are 31 x12.50 15"s but you definitely have peeked my curiosity to go and check! The heavy rake is coming from the 3 inch Downey coils in the rear that were put in there to replace the 4runner sag.
