thanks a lot....with the window being able to be rolled down....do you think the sound dampening material will get in the way? i ask because you've seen the inside of the door. thanks again!

as long as the sound dampening stuff is between the door mechanism and the interior panel, you should be just fine. the actual window mechanism is behind more metal and stuff. The point in the instructions I posted you should prolly not go past is where I started to remove the plastic that covers the opening. if you go past that and put stuff in there, you risk jamming the mechanism if not done right. You'll just need to make sure you leave a hole on one side for the screw and on the other for the snap fitting.

Also, be careful when you remove the plastic, there are small, thin felt pieces around each plastic "catch" that keep vibrations down, I guess. I lost one and ended up going back and making one out of a paper towel as I had a rattle there later. of course, wouldn't you know that as soon as I had it back together, I found the "missing" felt piece. Do watch them though as some have the tendency to stick on the metal part of the door and others stay on the plastic trim piece side.

Man, I wish I had pictures. Of course, I still need to go back and reinstall the camera in this new car, just haven't done it yet. :)
