removing limited flares / trim on a '98

Can you remove the flares and trim on a '98 limited w/out leaving massive holes and unpainted areas?

im reasonably sure that the entire vehicle is painted, and then the flares and limited trim is put on later. it is possible to remove them, but you will have small holes to deal with, but any body shop can fix that for very little $$$

i know of someone on this board that is currently looking for a flare, so atleast be aware that you can sell these items to help offset the cost of the body work

thanks for the reply Kyle. that's one of my 'issues' with the 4r i'm looking to buy - i think they look much better without all the plastic trim.

yeah, i'm pretty sure the whole body is painted as well, i guess that was kinda a stupid question.

any idea if there are holes under the side trim as well as the flares, or is it just the flares.

on my '00 expy the thin strip of side trim was just held in place by double sided tape, but the flares are somehow clipped in (and will leave holes - i've yet to take them off).

the limited style flares and trim will leave some small square holes in the panels/fenders. don't remember exactly how many though. i think only those thin matte black "sport" flares were bolt-ons w/ no holes.

im the one interested in flares that kyle was talking about

i need pass rear, the two pieces around the pass door. id take limited ones in any color.

thanks for the pic lee. i'll let you know if i buy the truck and remove the flares. thought it looks like there are quite a lot of holes to fix up. that might end up costing more than it's worth for me.
