Removing Plasti Dip overspray?

Any ideas? I was using bug and tar remover, but it is now just smearing it. I ordered more tape, got some more newspaper to do it over again this weekend (It is for the badges) but I want to get a clean surface for it. Do yall think Goo Gone will work, or have any other suggestions? Thanks!

(If it matters it is natural white so it don't have a clear coat, I used it GG when I removed my SR5 Badges the first time with no bad results)

eraser wheel works good if you can get it in there. Otherwise a clay bar will do the trick. Make sure to wax the area afterwards because itll strip it.
 
Paint thinner takes it off like dry erase marker.

edit - I've only done it twice, but haven't had problems with my Natural White, just don't pour the thinner on there. Just dab a little on a rag and wipe it.

LOL I'm not going to take something so strong to the paint like paint thinner. I bought some Goo Gone and some new wax, going to finish it tomorrow and dip it Saturday. If worse comes to worse, I'll just contiune using Bug & Tar remove since that is safe for paint, and of course I will be washing after to remove all residue.
 
How much and where is it? You could always tape off around the overspray and put 2 coats of dip on the overspray area and let it try. Should all peel off clean.

It's scattered on almost every panel. Tip to self: don't use plasti dip during windy or breezy conditions. If I were to use that method, I'd have the whole truck dipped before all the overspray was covered.
 
grab a microfiber rag and start wiping. definitely the best and safest way to get it off

Removing Plasti-Dip

I'll 3rd that. Microfiber decimates the overspray.

When doing painted surfaces,you can pre-treat any surfaces you DON'T want to dip with any paint safe lubricant like WD-40 (supposedly paint safe). This will keep the plastidip from bonding as well and make it much easier to remove if any gets past your taped areas.

When doing wheels, I first apply armor all, or tire shiner to the entire tire (see what I did there) and then cleaning up the overspray is a breeze. It just peels right off as one big pieces. Any little bits left behind slide right off with a microfiber towel. Way faster and easier than taping the tires off. Plus you will have shiny tires to match your new BA dipped wheels. :D

go to carwash with a pressure washer. Its slight rubber specs, shouldn't be hard at all to remove. Or go to Dipyourcar.com there is all kinds of videos and methods there.
 
Wd40, goobegone and microfibre will all work. I pressure wash my rims & grill for years without issue, plastidip still holding strong. Just an fyi, any prolonged exposure of plastidip to any oil based rustproofing or lubricant will lift and damage the dip.
