Removing rear seats is it hard

I was thinking of removing my rear seats just for a little extra storage room for a solo trip, has anyone done it is it easy or a major undertaking?

...it is not that difficult...ya just have to work it out slowly before attacking the job...the toughest part is the spring-loaded connection in the center...but just take your time...as there are a small amount of bolts to remove.

...The seats are surprisingly heavy once removed...but it sure opens up that space a bunch...I think putting them back in would be far more of a challenge, due to that spring-loaded connection?...

If you’re talking about just the seat bottoms, it’s very easy. Pop off two plastic covers, take out two 14 mm bolts for each seat. And the seats are light weight.

Hidden Bolts!

Pulling the seats isn't too bad. As others have said, pull the plastic caps with a panel tool then take out the bolts. Be aware, to get the seats out, once you have pulled the bolts from the floor you need to fold the backs forward and flip up the carpeting on the back fo the seats. There you will find the bolts that hold the seat in the side pivot point of the truck.
