removing rear springs

im going to install my daystar 2.5/1.5 kit this weekend with the front and rear fj springs. ive installed new springs on the front for a tacoma but ive never changed the rear springs on a runner. how do you get them off/put them back on?

Jack up the truck, remove wheels, support the truck under the frame, unbolt the shocks, unbolt the sway bar from the sway bar link, lower the rear axle so it is hanging free and then just push down each side of the axel and pull out each spring.

Really easy actually, you should have no problems.

have to agree with Blair on this one. Rear should only take about 1/2 hour tops.

this one might be a tad easier. it's what i used the 1st time i did a lift and went like a champ.

just take your time on the front and read read read. use a torque wrench and locktite everything.
don't forget that you need a 14mm box end wrench for the front upper tower nuts.
that back nut is a dog!
