Removing Running Boards from limited

Mine never had running boards. The picture below is shortly after it came home from the dealer.

It has TE rocker panels and fender flares now and Shrockworks Rock Rails.

I took mine off the day I brought it home from the dealer. I was able to sell the boards fairly quickly.

I posted this question before I looked at all the pictures already posted.
I live in Canada so Limited comes with running boards as standard equipment.
My wife is 5'4" and they rub her legs when getting out and she apparently can't step on them when geting in or out.
I take delivery in 3 more days and dealer will have them removed.
The vehicle is leasesd so I will keep them and put them back on if we don't buy it at lease end.
I will post pictures of it without them when we take delivery.

Just a suggestion, If your wife is only 5'4" you may want to leave em on and give her a chance to get used to them. I can almost guarantee she'll be looking for a step to get in within a week. :

Looks great! I've got a black '10 Limited. After seeing yours, I'm thinking that my running boards are coming off this weekend! (I don't know how much my wife uses them, though. We'll see if she needs 'em or not.)

This is why I love my auto-running boards. They come in handy and you can't really see them at all when tucked away.

Love the look man. What wheels and tires are those? Do you have a lift on that? I have a black SR5 and am looking for some black wheels. Removing my running boards this weekend.
