removing wax on plastic trim?

I took my 4R to a local hand wash and had the guy wax it..Unfortunately, he got wax all over plastic trim that connects the side view mirrors. What is the easiest and most harmless way of getting those white stains out? funny way of putting it, lol.

Automotive wax remover should be available at any auto supply store. 3M makes a product that removes wax, road tar, etc.

Dishwashing soap and warm water will probably do it too.

try the peanut oil/peanut butter trick. What it is really doing IMHO is keeping the trim 'wet' with the oil; you've probably noticed that while the car is wet the wax doesn't seem to show as much. When the oil washes off eventually, the wax is back.
