Rep Power??

Can someone please explain what "rep power" is? I tried to search it but since it has the word power in it i was sent all over the place. Just curious because I recently noticed that now when I click on "User CP" in the top right corner, it shows "latest reputation recieved" with a thread that I started. Basically just want to know what qualifies something to get reputation and what reputation power is for?

Also, how do you change the "registered user" title under my name/avatar. I noticed some people have clever title or whatever, I would just like something alittle less generic.

On the bottom left corner, under the user information on each post, it has a button to add them Rep.

You are supposed to leave a note with your name, but most forget.. It also is not used very much here, most just use the Like button on the right.

Awesome, thanks for the info, I never really thought to check what those buttons did, now I know. And I suppose we could blame facebook for the use of the like button, seems to be a popular thing. I'm bad for it too, but it's just become a habit now.

Rep Power is a measure of the popularity of your answers. It’s a misleading metric for understanding anything about the quality or usefulness of your answer at essay writer help but it can be a misleading indicator for what will happen to the question on which it resides.
