Repair manual DTC codes

After I performed the diagnostics on my JBL as described in the "radio stopped working" thread I came up with some trouble codes. After some digging I found out that these DTC's are found and explained in the repair manual. They are in the diagnostics section under Audio Diagnostics. The section and page number is 05-880 I believe.

Can anyone post that page so that I can check these codes?

The only DTC summary page I know is engine related codes (attached.) 05-880 is not audio related. What is/are the specific codes?

There are several pages of audio diagnostic codes at page 05-893 thru 05-898 - but not 880. Provide the physical address (like P 190 for HU or P 440 for amp) and the DCT resulting code and I can look it up. For P 190:

D6 *1 = absence of mstr
D7 *5 = connection chk err
E2 = on/off insrt error (replace radio assy!)
E3 *1 = ignore
E0 *1 = ignore
DE *4 = slave reset(momentary interruption)
DD *4 = mstr "

I'm trying to figure out why my rear audio assembly doesn't function (doesn't turn on) - man, is that audio system complicated! Not sure whether to blame it on my installing heated seat conversion couple weeks ago (worked before then) or the amp cutting out couple times last week! Unfortunately alot of the remedies say replace assembly!

Yeah 05-880 doesn't list any codes. I've attached 05-893 to 05-897 as wolfgang mentioned. Hope that helps.

Anyway THANKS guys for the help.

BTW the codes I was reading were P190, P440, P1F4 and No40


tkr128, those pages are for the Pioneer radio, are there additional pages for the JBL? Although now that I looked at them again they do have some of the same codes but just wondering if there is something JBL specific.

No JBL radio only the Pioneer - my guess is its called a JBL system with their speakers provided. The non-amplified standard radio is made by Fujitzu Ten and there are no diagnostics for it. Did you get the "good" or "chec" read outs?

one said good and two said "chec"

Sorry to bring back such an old thread but im having problems with my radio. I did the scan and came up with this:

P190
CHEC
P1F4
CHEC
P440
CHEC
NOFA

anyone have any info on this? my radio wont turn off which drains my battery over night. So i pull the fuse ever night and now the radio will randomly not play while driving. thanks kyle
