Replace Carpet with FJ Cruiser Type Floor

Anybody take the carpet out of your 4Runner and replace it with the rubber flooring used in the FJ? This would make the 4R much more practical in my eyes..Thinking of doing it. No idea where I would get the floor covering though.

You should just rip the carpeting out and drill a drain whole like I had on my old YJ Jeep.

Could you just roll-on some bed-liner over the carpet?

I hope you plan on keeping this thing for the long-haul. I'm sure this would kill resale value. That's why weathertech molded mats are more appealing to most guys.
