Replace Differential Oil

Recently, I had a dealer perform 30,000 mile service to my 2011 4runner. He strongly suggested I have the differential oil replaced in the front and rear. Is this service necessary?

At 30000 I would replace both front and rear diffs and transfer case oil. DIY if you can, it will save you bunch.

I would especially after the break in of the diffs and transfer case. It's an easy DIY.

I'm at 32K and have been through a few water crossings, I bought the gaskets and oil, now I need to get ambitious and do it. There are good posts with part numbers and photos on this forum.
