Replace Starter Contacts and Plunger

Thanks to [MENTION=106747]DisguisedRope[/MENTION] and all who contributed to this thread. Just did a preventative rebuild of my starter at 240K. My contacts were in the same condition as the OP's. I wasn't having any issues but wanted to take care of this before the one-click monster got me out somewhere far from home.

Repair lasted ten years almost to the day. Same symptoms popped up so I grabbed another set of contacts to go through the motions again. Unfortunately I hit a road block before I started. Installed the URD long tube headers six years ago, and they are blocking access to the starter. I really don't want to remove them. Has anyone had any luck removing a starter with headers installed?
