Replace Stock Exhaust

I have a 1990 that I need to replace the exhaust sytem on. Any suggestions? Not looking for something that makes it loud, want performance and price.

Are you talking manifold all the way back or just cat back?

You could go with headers and dual exhaust, high flow cat,flowmaster muffler...it's up to how much $ you want to spend.

I was only thinking cat back. I have read on this board about Flowmaster, Magnaflow. Seems like the Flowmaster has a rep for being loud, which I don't want. Just looking for a good upgrade form stock. I have 228k on the motor and want to treat it nice.

I would go magnafloww too when the time comes. Do you have 228K on that cat , if so might want to replace also.
