Replace the 3VZ-E with....? [Possible Engine Swap]

So lets say I was interested in swapping out the 3VZ-E in my 1900 4Runner 4x4. What would be the best engine to throw back in there, and how hard of a project is it?

I have heard that a lot of guys swap out with the 5VZ-E. What's the word on that engine? How big is it? Gas mileage? Horsepower? Reliability?

How much does it cost?

What specialized tools will I need?

I've never done an engine swap before... but I wonder if the cost of getting my 3VZ-E up to snuff might be better spent on an engine swap.

Maybe I can pay an auto shop to do it if its too much for me?

Dunno. Just toying with the idea and wanted to talk it out with you guys.

Here is a page I bookmarked a while back, should have some good info in it. If (or when) my 3.0 dies I would like to do this swap, depending on how good of shape the body is in when it happens.
