Hey all. I am a proud 2001 SR5 4WD owner. I have 62K, with original plugs. I am going to replace them with NGK LFR6C11's and want to know if I should do the wires while I'm at it. Ive been told wires last longer these days, etc. Suggestions??

Maybe get the nology wires, I heard they improve performance. Seriously though, your 01 has direct ignition, which means each plug has its own coil sitting right on top, this system does not use plug wires so there is nothing to replace. Just put the new plugs in and you are good to go.

huh ?

3rd Gen here
2001 has 3 coils on the passenger side. I would not worry about the wires until about 80k miles and I would buy stock wires = exact fit.

My bad if the V6 only has 3 coils, mine is the I4 and it has 4 coils and no wires so I figured the V6 was the same technology, sorry if I messed up.
