I removed the black filler below my Alpine stereo and replaced it with Birch to match my shift knobs.

See photos further down in the thread.

You know, this only happens here at this forum. I've checked other forums that I post pictures at and they show up just fine and others see them also. I've posted pictures in the past and everyone saw them, this just started... I have no clue whats wrong.

Here's the link to webshots where the pics are at:

Crap, how did I miss that!

Thanks Mike!

Dash Before. Circuit City (local electronics store) installed the subwoffer and told me there wasn't room behind the face plate to place the subwoffer control, so they mounted it on the outside. I thought about it and tore the dash apart and found they were wrong, there is enough room to put another stereo in there, they just didn't want to mess with it. A little work with a Drimel and drill and here ya go.

Dash after. I plan to add lettering for Infinity and the + and - beside the knob. This will also house my driving and fog light switches. Both the shift knobs and the plate are Birch, but they are a little different in color. I'll keep my eye out and if I can locate some that is lighter like the shifters, then I will change it out
