Replaced the Knock sensor and didn't solve my code 52

I recently tore into my engine to replace my knock sensor because i was getting a code 52 for a bad knock sensor.

Once I got it all back together and fired the thing up and drove it same thing happened again. check engine comes on and truck begins to run like crap.

I went to the dealer and they said it sounded like a bad wire. They told me it sounded like a bad wire to the computer and to check for continuety from the sensor to the computer (knock sensor wire is plug 2 terminal 5 at the computer). checked it for continuety and their was none so we made a jumber wire going straight from the sensor to the computer and still didn't fix my problem. Dealership didn't seem to think it was a bad computer.

also when we had the intake manifold off to replace the sensor the area under the intake was full of oil. Anyone know where the oil could have come from? there was no sign of a valve cover leak in that area. the oil was black but seemed to be as new as the oil in the engine no grime buildup or dirt.

same here....code 52 angst in CO

Hey pioneer,
Im having the same problem, replaced KS, wire to harness, timing belt, water pump, tension pulley/spring, intake and plenum gaskets, distributor(used), distributor cap and rotor, plugs & wires, TPS(used), and MAF(used), checked for vac leaks, kicked cursed and begged but nothing has removed my code 52. If you figure it out, let me know.
As for the oil, I had a similar puddle(mixed oil and anti-freeze), and after sucking it out with a vac I found fine dirt and debris in the bottom. I figure it comes from spilling oil from the filler cap, as it has nowhere to drain to.
