Replacement Antennas

I think the gears in my antenna are stripped.

Has anyone replaced it with a non moving antenna like this one?

I figure something that doesn't have moving parts would be better to keep over the long run.

if your having a problem with your power antenna..

Then yes a "whip" style or that "euro" style antenna will work, however, there may be some difficulties with mounting it.

The antenna mask has a nylon toothed drive belt that gets broken or stripped. A replacement mast is $28-32. Maybe 1/2 hour to swap it out.
