It depends. Neither one makes leather covers in the same pattern as the OEM's. I've never got anything from Metric but I do know that Katzkin is very good.

If I bought a 4Runner with cracked and messed up leather seats, or really for that matter if the leather seats were like brand new I would sell the leather seats and buy the Sport Cloth seats as replacements.

But cloth is more base looking.

I stalled my front seat covers this weekend and could not be more satisfied. I also replaced my drivers side cushions both bottom and back. Man... What a difference. This might have been one of the best things I have done to date. The seats feel like new and the leather is buttery soft. They are so firm and hug you like new. Very pleased and worth the money to me.

$799.00 for both seats top and bottom.

The foam was ordered through an online dealership parts seller. They were more expensive then I would have like to spent but it was worth it. The seats are like new now. I had some doubts about the drivers seat cushion part # and think I actually got a passenger side since it had the airbag sensor in it but they were the same dimensions and shape. What I am getting at is that I think the foam would be a bit cheaper without the sensor but this is the part number several dealerships told me to order.

71501-35060
PAD SUB-ASSY, FR SEA
$197.14

71551-35050
SEAT BACK PAD
$111.24

Another think to consider is that the fit is much tighter with the new foam under. As seen in this pic the leather is kinda saggy on the side but not terrible. Maybe with some summer heat it will look better.

Thanks for the info! I have been wondering what it would cost to fix mine.

I replaced both front seat covers, top and bottom, with new ones from Bruce. Couldn't ask for better quality and fit. I put in Dorman seat heaters while the covers were off and they work great.

sure thing . they should look exactly like ones pictured above in this thread since they are from the same seller.

I'll post pics though!
