Ive been doing my first full rebuild on an 87 4runner (22re). After reinstalling the engine, I realized that the machine shop did not put inserts or rethread the exhaust manifold studs like I ask then to.... anyway since the engine is in already, Im doing this repair myself. After alot of research I decided to tap for 7/16x14 studs. I found references to use gm rocker arm studs but had a really hard time finding any that were shoulderless. Finally I found a source for what I believe will work and and is the reason im posting, as it may help others looking for them. The link.
