Replacing 5100s after 60K

Considering replacing my 7 year/60K mileage Bilstein 5100s up-front w/6112s and the paired new coil springs. I currently have 5100s on all fours w/stock springs. There is really nothing wrong (that I can tell) with my suspension setup now other than being 60K+ miles old. I have a great coupon for Wheeler's Off Road so I could save some $ if I buy now.
I feel like I'm approaching the beginning of the end of the lifespan of these shocks and I'd likely be replacing/upgrading them in the next 30K miles or so but I really don't know.
I would likely swap the 5100s up front w/new 6112s and the matched coils. I would also probably change the rear 5100s for new 5100s while keeping the original coils. I really don't have a need for heavier coils front or rear.
So if I just decide to upgrade, does this setup make sense?

Advice? Suggestions?

If no need for spring upgrade, why not just stick with New set of 5100 since they were flawless for 7 years.
 
JMO. Keep your old set and get some rebuildable fox or icons. price might be a little higher but not by much.Learn to diy rebuild.
 
If you're burning to spend money (expiring discounts and coupons foster this basic human psychology) go for it, but if there's no perceived need, why?

Do you wheel it hard or often, putting the suspension to its limits?

Is there something else you could get from Wheelers ?

My 5100’s went 90k. Feeling the struts and shocks replacement was needed, but traded in for a 22ORP.

Now starting over, will go with the 5100’s again, they were great for my mostly pavement driving and light Off road adventures.

It doesn't sound like you have a need to pick up a new hobby of rebuilding shocks. I honestly don't think many people here have a need for that.

I like my 5100s and can't think of a reason why I would change unless these give out early. The cost is good, the quality is good, they're a known brand, and, so far with only 10k miles on mine, they meet all the needs I have.

Nothing wrong with going with the same thing you've had. Also... nothing wrong with waiting until your current ones need replaced.

Do it! You've got it in your head to go with 6112's so I don't think you will be satisfied with anything less. Our decisions on parts for our Runners are not always (seldom) logical to others so do it and tell us about the results. I'm looking forward to your report.
I have 4600's and FJ springs on mine that replaced the stock xreas and they do me fine for my on highway needs, I don't off road, but that wouldn't stop me from upgrading if I got the itch/money to do it.

Going to slow my roll.

Did some more research and although the 6112s are a solid suspension component, I really don't need them and wouldn't likely often benefit from them in my semi-mundane pursuits.

New 5100s are in my future - I'll keep my practical streak going for now . . .

I appreciate EVERYONE who weighed in!
