Replacing a fuel filter

It's in the tank as far as I am aware. It's part of the fuel sender assembly. Any reason why you want to replace it? I don't think its one of those parts that is typically replaced anymore.

The filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. It cannot be changed out unless you buy a whole new fuel pump assembly around $600 or do what I did and buy the urd fuel pump bypass the factory filter and have a external one that you change whenever you want. Toyota really had a lapse in judgement in this case.
