Replacing engine, what else needs to be done?

I've asked this over at Yotatech also, need to gather information ASAP. Finally have a Reman engine in to replace my 90 4runner broken 3slo. The engine arrived yesterday and the work will start this Friday, I hope. I'm wondering what, if anything I should have the tech do to ensure a satisfactory install.
This is a remanufactured long block, (no oil pan, valve covers, etc). Is there any special considerations, parts that need to be replaced, that sort of thing? I ask because the last engine I replaced was in a 1956 chevy, in 1964. A 350hp 327 replaced a 235 blue streak 6. My crew and I did that job in a day and a half, this one is being done by a Real technician, in his garage, and is costing me plenty, so I want to have it done right. any and all thoughts are welcomed.

Go ahead and replace clutch, pressure plate, throw out and pilot bearings. You're in there now best to take action. Also, splurge for toyota fipg for the oil pan. Cheap insurance against future leaks.

Would be a good time to check out your engine bay wiring. Crappy fuel injector clips often need to be replaced, possible reroute your fuel filter to the firewall for ease of access.

It's probable a little late now, but it would have been good to have you fuel injectors sent out to have tested and cleaned.
