I was curious if any of you have tried to replace your front grille on a 4th gen that already had a hood protector installed.
I have a hood protector on my new 4R SE (port installed option, wasn't an option to not get it) and I wanted to replace the stock chrome grille with a color-keyed grille. By the looks of it, there is double sided tape adheared to both the grille and the hood protector mounts.
I was just curious if any of you have tried this and what the results were. I'd like to give it a try if I won't damage anything or bollack it up. If it's going to be a bigger pain in the ass than what it's worth, I might just pass and stick with the stock grille.
