Hey all,
I think I have an acceptable answer in mind, but wanted to run this by the gang
Here is a very basic pic of my '98 cat.
The length of the Flowmaster replacement is exactly the distance of the welds.
I really wanted to just chop the tubes and weld 'er in place, but I think I
am going to need to cut off/re-weld on the flange, and cut around
the factory weld on the engine side for everything to fit without more adapters or hoopty engineering...correct?
I don't want to bypass, do more than once for a few years, or deal with OEM replacement. So any other tips or ideas before I hack into my exhaust?
