replacing my stock suspension

I'm here in good ol' Arizona and I have a 98 T4R and it still has the factory suspension. I'm going to replace it with OME shocks but I dont know if I have to, or need to, get OME coil springs to accompany the new shocks. If I do have to get new springs does anybody know where/how I can buy them at a discount? I'm buying the shocks off toytec.com and will likely get the springs from there as well if it comes down to it.

thanks guys!

Hi, I don't know anywhere local you can buy them, but the cheapest I found when I bought mine (a few months ago) was at trdparts4u.com. I did both the shocks and springs with OME on my 2005 and I really like how it turned out.

Bumping up a 2 yr old thread. Anyone know any mechanics in the PHX metro area they can recommend. Looking to get a lift kit and new shocks..

I take my 4Runner exclusively to Camelback Toyota. The service director and many of his guys have classis 40's and and/or modded Land Cruisers and 4Runners! They've done plenty of work on my 4runner, they're reasonably priced, seriously friendly. We did our own suspension, however they recently did my boyfriend's dad's Tundra (lift, front bumper, etc., etc.) and it came out great! They're the only place I trust with my 4R.
