Replacing rear reflector on 2003 4Runner

Hi: Some kid ran into the back of my mother in laws truck over the weekend. Does anyone know how this red reflector that is embedded into the rear bumper comes out? The estimate for cost is $75-82 bucks. But, nobody at the stealer could tell me how to get it out. Thanks.

The usual, helpful, stealership response when there is nothing in it for them. It's a matter of removing one 10mm nut. Check your replacement part to see what we mean. How did you get it so cheap? I thought this part ran into the $150-$200 range.

Reflector replacement

I bought it at Central City Toyota in Philadelphia, PA

$81 bucks including tax. It is already on the truck. Thanks for the replies.

Had you looked at the entire thread that was posted, you could have gotten the replacement lense/housing from partznet.com for $58.20 plus shipping:

That and the fact if you live in Philly you're close enough to Connicelli (partznet) to pick it up. partznet will beat Center City Toyota everyday of the week on price.
