replacing rear rotors

Just a little research before I dive into replacing my rear rotors and pads. To relieve the e brake, I just click the star adjustment wheel through the slot in the rotor until I have enough slack to remove the rotor?

Once I have the new rotors on, to re-adjust the rear e brakes, what are the tech specs? How far to adjust them?

Any help or links to a writeup would be great

You may want to try removing the rotor first. I was able to get the rotors off mine without doing any adjusting to the e-brake. Use an even pull while twisting the rotor.

I too was able to remove the rotor without adjusting the ebrake.

But an easier way to remove the rotor...

The outward facing part of the rotor...you'll see two threaded holes. I think the bolt size is 6mm - course thread. Get two bolts at least 2" long and thread the bolts into the holes, alternating about 3 turns each bolt. This will push the rotor away from the hub. Much easier then trying to muscle it off.
