Replacing retractable antenna with.. normal antenna.

Is there anyway to do this? Im considering replacing it because its broken but at the same time being able to push it down when offroading will be a plus..

Is there anyway to put a normal antenna in there?

Also is there anyway to us a cb antenna for radio and cb? not at same time of course...

Do a search on "Tacoma whip mod". I was looking into that a while back. Good luck...

I simply disconnected mine. Unplugged it and tore the strip off. I can manually push it up and down now, but usually just leave it up.
