Replacing seat covers

I have a 98 ltd with leather. The seats have noticably deteriorated in the two years I have owned it. I think it is a little deceiving to call this leather since it is a paper thin layer bonded to cloth. Must have been one sorry old cow to have a hide like that.

Anyway, can anyone recommend a good quality replacement? I'll probably go with cloth this time, but I want a fitted cover, not the cheapo "fits anything" stuff.

a lot of people recommend Wet Okole. I don't have experience with them myself, but do a search of "Wet Okole" and it should bring up a few threads.

I have ordered the wetokole covers for my front seats. It is about $250 for the pair, depending on options. They run specials on different car models so you may get a break. They will send free samples, but I actually changed my mind on what to get after viewing their extensive photo gallery. It can take 4 weeks for them to be made so I am in wait mode.

Got them installed. They seem to fit pretty well. The bottom cover takes some effort since the power seat stuff doesn't leave much room to reach under there. I chose to have the lumbar switch covered up, since I never use it and it is just one more place it could rip.

Seat cover update

I had some reservations earlier, but after a month and a half with these seat covers, they are just great. No more ice-cold leather in winter, and they do not shift around on the seat at all. They show no sign of wear or fading. Initially there was a strong rubber-type smell, but with only two seats and the Ca sunshine baking them, it went away quickly. If you get all fronts and backs covered, you might want to get the deodorizer.

I highly recommened this brand.
