Replacing SR5 with TRD

I am thinking of taking off the SR5 badges on the doors and replacing them with "TRD" to change things up a bit, I feel it would look almost stock as it is 3 letters switched for 3 letters (middle stays the same) but still be different. I have nav, leather, limited wheels, and all that, so I kinda dont like having the SR5 emblem as it is the bottom of the line, and my car is not. Also I have a 2wd, and it seems like everyone else in this area also hase a 2wd sr5, so it would be a bit different. I thought about just taking them off and leaving it debaged, but I think it would look too plain, or like I was in an accident and i fixed the car but didnt replace the emblems.

Well anyways, I would need two Ts and 2 Ds, anyone debadge thier Limited and not want thier letters anymore?

I also thought about getting the small Ts Rs and Ds out off a sport edition badge and putting them next to the Sr5 so it would say SR5TRD

IDK, I guess I just want to be different and not be the bottom of the line or just be blank. What do you guys think?

I am in the process of doing that too to my SR5 emblem.

Ordered a set of the TRD from FJ TRD edition emblems.

Plus I have a TRD CAI and other misc TRD parts installed.

I think it's a good idea, man. If that's what you want, go for it. I agreee with your thoughts on de-badgeing. Too plain, I'd never debadge mine. Guess I should never say never. Anyways, go for it!

Well anyone have any LIMITED badges that they no longer want? I know plenty of people on here have debadged.

By the way misticz, just out of curiosity how much did the FJ TRD badges cost you?
