replacing stock speakers

anyone w/ a 01 4runner or close to it installed infinity ref. 2ways in the front doors?
if so did they fit alright?
im checking out infinity ref. 6012i 2ways that crutchfield says will fit w/out any adapters or brackets.

one website said mine has 7in in the front and those speakers will need adapters but everyone else says 61/2....and crutchfield says they need no brackets.... and so im here lol thanks

im pretty sure they are 6.5's and u don't need brackets
