replacing v6 motor mount in a '93

Hi, I just bought my 4runner two days ago and it needs to have the driver's side motor mount replaced. I went to look at it yesterday and it's a lot tighter in there than I would've thought (especially with it being 4x4).
Does anyone have any tips for replacing this mount? The easiest way I can tell is to get at it from inside the driver's side wheel well, and then jack up the engine a few inches to get the new one in there. Thanks!

Thats what I would suggest.

This was one of the first tasks I took on when we got our 1990. You'll need to raise the engine a bit. I'd suggest an OTC stinger engine support bar(see pick).

You might consider doing both mounts, so the drive train is properly balanced. If yours is/was anything like ours, they are both shot. If memory serves me, the driver's side is a breeze. The passenger side mount is a real bear cat to DIY. I had to loosen a couple components(ac, starter, etc..) in the area. It does pay off in the end though.
