Restoration 1996 SR5 v6 interior dash and steering wheel

I have a recently acquired 1996 SR5 4runner that runs great (V6, not 4wd), but the interior console, dash, and interior door trim is VERY sun/heat damaged. Also, half of the padding on the steering wheel is "rotted" off, exposing the metal wheel. Where does one start to get this stuff restored? I am prepared to REPLACE (preferably with OEM) parts myself, but I am also prepared to enlist services for complicated installs. The steering wheel has an airbag, so I guess I can't do that myself....I don't have any special certification, and it has to be able to pass inspection.
Any quick replies, however brief, will be appreciated by this new member...and please shut me down and redirect me if I am in the wrong place or have posted in appropriately.

Air bag or not you should be able to change the wheel yourself. Look up a how to on youtube or pick up a haynes or service manual. Look on ebay if you want stock junkyard will probably be rough, mine is too. The dealership will rob you on that. console I would say junkyard or ebay. and dash I believe they make replacement caps, check junkyards or may have to contact a shop that does interior locally

Start checking salvage yards for parts vehicles.
Look for people parting out their trucks, places like Craigslist, Toyota sites like this and local offroad clubs. All have 4sale and Wanted sections.

Be careful with airbags, they can be dangerous when handled incorrectly.
