Retrofit bracket

I have noticed a lot of people are starting to swap the 06-09 headlights in place of the 03-05 headlights. On top of that many people are talking about retrofitting and gauging interests on that. My retrofitter has been talking about making a new bracket to run the RX330 AFS projectors in the 06-09 headlights with minor trimming and he is also in the process of making a new retro quick bracket for the mini d2s since the TRS one doesn't work as well. The mini bracket will be a complete bolt-up and hopefully there will be no trimming (we are still in the process of getting measurements and designing it) So if you're interested in this, please let me know.

Some of you know I've been designing a bracket specifically for mounting the RX330 AFS projectors to the 06-09 Toyota 4Runner aftermarket assemblies (Depo, etc.), but would also work with many other newer Toyota models. It will bolt right up to the factory mounts with minor trimming, much like the RX350 afs brackets that TRS sells. These would also work great for you guys that like using bolts or doing JNC mounting, as it gives you 4 mounting points you didn't have before and each point has a slight degree of rotational adjustment.

The brackets would be made out of .063" 5052 laser cut aluminum. If we can get just 10 people committed to buy these, I would be able to sell them for as low as $25 per pair. However, if you would be more interested in something with a thicker material, it can always be done but the price may vary.

Below is an example of what you would be getting. This is the plasma cut version (template), so the cuts may look rough, but since the new ones will be laser cut they will look much cleaner.

this is so tempting for me to do another retrofit, i would still do jb weld for a strudier mount to that bracket.

Do it! The bracket goes exactly on the stock location so it will be held very well

if the bracket was a little bit thinner, you gain more clarance with the projector from the shroud.

They way he mounted them in the headlights, they have a little less gap in between the headlight shroud and projector.
