Retrofit help

Santa has approved a retrofit purchase for the holidays for me this year. I am looking for some help, advice, confirmation from the fellow retrofitters who have some knowledge.

Im looking to purchase the Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III kit, but am not sure if I should get the D2S or the H1 kit...

Im want to get a set of the xB LED Halos, but havent decided btwn the Amber and the White. Any opinions/suggestions/etc helpful! (I'll be running these primarily as an addition to the small parking lights on the 05 headlights).
Also, Any idea about what size Halos I should use? I will be using them as solid rings preferably around the outside of the reflector cone.

I would like to setup the retrofit so that the high beam halogens came on as well when the bi-xenon is switched to high beam mode. Will I need the High-beam correctional splitters or just the regular high-beam splitters? Also, to backtrack a bit, will this setup have any positive effect on light output? I won't do it if adding the high beam halogens has little to no effect on the light output overall.

Lastly (I think) is the shrouds. In searching, I've noticed the gatling gun is a popular choice, but I really have no favorite at this point. Any experience/opinions on the mini graphites? Also are there any that fit better into the 4runners headlight reflector than others?

I think these are the only things I need help with (I think!) Any responses would be of tremendous help, so thanks in advance!

I'd get the D2Ss, but I can't think of why you should over the other.

I'd run the white ones only b/c the amber would probably be confused with parking/turn signals. PLUS, every manufacture is going white. Going amber would be strange.

No doubt with the OEM high beams, your light output will be increased. As far as the beam splitters, contact Retrofit Source for that, they can help you as well as sell you the parts you will need.

What's great about the 4R is that the headlight housing is huge, so pretty much everything will fit, it's just a matter of what you want to install in them.

Sorry I couldn't answer all of your questions, but going "retro" is surely the way to go to get the best output! Please post pics when you are finished with your project! Best of luck.

mh1 is more easier to put in will a lil cutting, but for best result, use a true oem projector like the g37 or ls460, since u want a bixenon projector they are good choices, the acura tl are good projectors but the high beam silenoid is not great, too sensitive on polarity, reverse it and its over. oem projectors do a way better job with a clear lens. i suggest get the best you can, if you want to try a fx-r or evo-x they are both good. single xenon projectors put out a much wider light like s2000, rx-afs, ls430(widest).
