Retrofit Telescoping Steering Wheel

I just swapped a 2000 Limited 4x4 for a 2006 SR5 4x4 a couple months ago. Is there any way to put a telescoping steering wheel on this thing? I just can't seem to get comfortable - no matter what I do the steering wheel is too far away when the rest of me is comfortable. I don't seem to have freakishly long legs and short arms.....

Anyone have any thoughts / solutions?

It's possible to retrofit one in, but it can be expensive.

I still don't understand why Toyota took the telescopic wheel away from SR5's in 2004. The 2003's have them and I've grown to like the feature.
