Reuse valve cover gasket ?

Long story short - pulled valve cover to isnpect cam dot alignment. Did both valve cover gasket job nearly 10 months (4-5K miles) ago. It is pretty soft and not brittle.
Can I reuse it ?

Yes yes, I know it's the best is to replace it, but I'm interested if anyone reused it and if it was successfull.

Sure, especially one that recent. Careful on the re-torqueing, as always... I go around it a BUNCH of times to avoid cracking the cover.

Apply a tiny film of FIPG on the gasket that mates with the cylinder head. Even if the bolts come loose it won't leak oil!
