Revenge on wife

My wife has a habit of running the fuel to completely empty like a teenager. I got in this morning to take the kids to school and it had barely enough to go the couple miles for the umpteenth time. I tell her every time don't run it all the way down it's bad for the pump!!!

Maybe a dick move but... when I got back I pulled the EFI relay. When she tries to go to work in a hour it wont start op2: I'll tell her she probably fried the pump, then I'll put some lawn mower gas in it and try "resetting" the pump and maybe it will work But stop running it down to empty!

Pet peeves. I got 'em too. Can't stand someone pulling out of a spot, stopping, then turning the steering wheel in whatever direction they need - I always say turn the steering wheel Only when the vehicle is rolling - even if slowly but not while stopped. The other is setting the parking brake (especially on hills) Before letting go of the foot brake - can't stand all the weight on that tiny pin. lol... :cowboy:

I've gone through 2 fuel pumps because I'm too lazy/cheap to fill it up. My grandpa told me this recently and I thought "Oooohhh, that makes sense."!

Why lawnmower gas though? Is it mixed?

I did once superglue the heels of my ex wife's favorite heels to the tile floor in our bathroom. Priceless, though having that moment rehashed in divorce court wasn't too pleasing.

In my '97, 4 gallons. We usually fill it at or before the light, even though there is still going to be 4+ gallons left.

Pretty sure he means to take some gas out of the can usually reserved for the lawn mower, since it's likely to already be there at the house.

I don't know but she has run out of gas at least twice. She likes to leave it until it gets below the bottom marker, maybe 1 gallon left. "Whats the big deal there's still 20 miles left?". Literally every other time I start her vehicle the empty light is on.

Anyway it didn't start so I poured in a gallon and it was still below the marker. She was surprised since she has it down to an exact science of how many miles you can squeeze on empty. Not really any drama but hopefully she will stop doing it. I doubt it though.

You're right, there is about 4 gallons left but about 2 gallons is unusable. My son ran my truck out once. I put a little less than a gallon in it to get it going and went right to a station to fill it up and I put almost 16 gallons in it.

I will do that if I know she is really too busy to fill up, or didn't get paid yet or something like that. But I got so tired of it, especially since sometimes she will see it's empty and know she can't make it to work, so takes my car instead. I work at home so don't need it but it's still annoying.
