revo 2 vs. destination - noise levels??

has anyone run both of these tires? i'm leaning towards the destinations, since i've had them on my Xterra before. however, I want to know how they compare when it comes to road noise, since the 4runner is primarily the wife's ride.

I ran the Firestone Destination ATs and Revo 2s on my Tacoma. The Firestones were 265/75/16 and the Revo 2s were 265/70/17. Overall, both are quiet tires for an AT, but I felt the Revo2s were both quieter and smoother. The original Revos got loud quickly, but when I sold my Tacoma, I had over 10k on the Revo 2s and they were still quiet.

I wonder if the size difference had to do with anything, since the destinations had more sidewall.

i'm still leaning towards the destinations, since the revo's are so damn expensive!

Well, since one was a 265/75/16 and the other a 265/70/17, the sidewalls were pretty close to the same height. I'd actually expect the 16 inch tire with the 75 sidewall to be better cushioned. The Revos are damn expensive and honestly, I don't know if they are worth the premium over the Destination ATs. I'm ordering a new set of tires for my 1997 4Runner and will most likely go with the Destination ATs myself because I can't find Revo 2s in my desired size for under $200 a piece.
