I know this subject has been beat to death, but I thought I'd put my 2 cents worth in. I've been running Revo's on my 2002 Tacoma dbl cab for two years in colorado. I drive 50% offroad and 50% canyon driving. The tires have been great. They get me through 12" of snow on level ground. Ground clearance always being the limiting factor.They rate medium for our clay mud and are average on the icy canyon roads. For wet weather and dry roads they are excellent. Never any hydroplane problems no matter how hard it rains here. I think they are the best all-terrain tire for my driving conditions. I would say that BFG ko's are the better choice for a rocky environment which my road does not have alot of. But the Revos clean out a little better. My wifes ford diesel also has them and they do just as well but wear faster due to the weight and torque of that beast. I now have a 2006 4runner sport V6. I went with 265-70-17's, stock tire is 265-65-17 Dunlop Grandtech 20. The stock size Revos are $20.00 MORE than the 70's. I took them out this weekend and they DO NOT RUB on this vehicle. The 4runner drives a hair rougher than the dunlops but still handles super and the tires stick like glue as I expected. Just thought I'd give another opinion.

I AGREE......I'm in the process of inventing my own tires. I'm taking a set of Revos and a set of BFG's and cutting them down the center and then using silicone to but 1/2 of each together so I have the best of both worlds. they will sell for $1600 a set or 2400per set depending on if you want the 12 month silicone or the 5 years silicone:biggrin2:
