Revos in the snow

Well I finally got to play in the snow with the A/T Revos and returned to tell about it!

They are great tires so far, and happen to look nice and rugged too. Since they didn't have my stock size last year I got the size up, 70s.

Dry: Excellent, very little road noise

Wet: Excellent, no slippage to date - very confident

Snow and ice: Good. No problem running around in 8-9" of the stuff, even over muddy fields and ice. The only thing that challenged the 4runner/revo combo was a 30-degree sloped driveway with an untouched 10" of snow/ice. I blame that mostly on the 4runner trying to drive for me (beeping, clicking, backing off on throttle, very annoying). I probably would've made it up anyway with another couple runs at it, but feared sliding into a tree.

Hope that helps you tire shoppers!

I posted some a long time ago - trust me they look GREAT on the truck. White letters, much more aggressive and with the larger size about .5" more ground clearance. No rubbing in the wheel wells with normal use either.

Try doing a search on my posts and you'll probably find the pics.

Here is what they looked like on my 3rd gen when it was stock...

They truly an amazing tire. THOSE THINKING OF GETTING BFG AT KOs. Find a way to drive something with the Revos in the rain and I promise you will never buy another AT tire. These tires stick to the road like glue even in the wet. The BFG doesn't even compare in wet traction. They might not look QUITE as good, but they look darn good and a ton better than the stock tires. Plus... what tire would you rather be riding on when you see a stopped car in front of you??
