Pulling the trigger on the Revos. I need 5. Is Tire Rack the place to go, or would anyone have a better recommendation? I live in STL. Tire Rack wants $150/ tire and a little over a bill for shipping from MA. An of course $30 a wheel for mounting/balancing.......blah, blah, blah

Yes but they might have to order them for you and they'll only install the same factory size tire. They will sell you the tires w/o installation and take off ~$11 ea.

thanks guys. I do not have a Cost Co membership, I have a Sam's membership. I know they carry the BF Goodrich ATs. My sister n law has a Cost Co mebership, however. Should I get the 265/70 17 instead of the OEM? Do the 70s rub at all?

Individual membership is $35. I have a business membership that allows me to get in an hour before the crowds during the week.

If you need tires, let me know, I'm starting a tire/wheel/suspension shop in NJ.

I'm in NJ and need some Revos by the time snow falls. where's your shop?

Tenafly (Bergen County) on County Rd. right next to Difeo BMW.

We just got a new laser alignment rack and a tire changer that handles 22" wheels and the adapter kit that handles 28"! :D

If there's enough interest, I can probably do a group buy on these tires.

I'm working on pricing now but margins on tires is very slim. I'll post up when I get more info.

Nice deal on Revo's

Called a local dealer after checking the price at Tire Rack on a set of Revo's 265/70/17

Didn't think they would match there price but they did. After mounting, balancing, the no cost on shipping, and taxes, I should save about $30:) I still have done and probally will do a lot of business through the Tire Rack, but don't ever rule out your locals.

They said they would be here tomorrow. Hope it all works out well.

265/70-17 are cheaper than the stock 265/65-17 size by about $13/tire.

At this point, I can do $625 out the door for 4 265/70-17 and $675 for 4 stock sizes. This includes mounting, balancing and tax. I was hoping I could do better but unless we can get 50 cars, there's no discounts to be had.

You guys can wait for the rebates but they'll only install stock sizes and they need to be installed at either Costco or a Bridgestone/Firestone dealer. I got screwed when I bought mine from a BS/FS dealer but didn't have them install them. I paid $590 OTD and installed them myself.

This isn't a group buy but if you mention that you're from the board, I'll honor the above prices.
